Our Story

18 Years of Structured Career Guidance

Founded in 2006. Built on the principle that every individual has a Swabhava — a natural way of being — and that career alignment with Swadharma is the only sustainable path.

Our Mission

1.64 crore careers by 2040

Dheya exists to make structured, science-backed career guidance accessible to every Indian — regardless of city, school, or socioeconomic background. We measure success not in revenue but in career decisions made with clarity and confidence.

By 2040, we aim to have guided 1.64 crore Indians through structured career mentoring — building a generation that works in alignment with their Swabhava.

Our Foundation

Swabhava–Swadharma: the science of self-knowledge

Swabhava is your innate nature — the unique configuration of personality, aptitudes, drives, and values that you were born with and that cannot be permanently overridden by circumstance, coaching, or willpower. Most career mistakes happen when people ignore Swabhava and pursue careers chosen by others.

Swadharma is your rightful path — the career and life role that emerges when you act in accordance with your Swabhava. When career and Swadharma align, work becomes effortless. When they conflict, even success feels hollow.

Dheya's psychometric framework — RAPD — is the bridge between Swabhava and Swadharma. It measures four dimensions (Role, Aptitude, Profile, and Drive) to create a precise map of your innate nature, then matches you to career paths where that nature becomes your greatest advantage.

Leadership

Built by practitioners, not consultants

The Dheya team comprises career practitioners, psychometricians, and certified mentors who have collectively guided over 18,000 career decisions. Every product, framework, and assessment in the Dheya ecosystem was built by people who have sat across from a student, a professional, or a family at a career crossroads — not by consultants working from spreadsheets.

This practitioner-first philosophy is why our methodology is recognised by the World Bank and trusted by institutions as demanding as the Indian Army. It is not theoretical — it has been validated in thousands of real career decisions across India's most diverse contexts.
